Actress Natasha Richardson has died in a New York hospital following a skiing accident in Canada on Monday. The 45-year-old was a member of the Redgrave family, arguably the most famous acting dynasty in British history. Her late father, Tony Richardson (left) was a successful director. Richardson had spoken of how her mother, actress Vanessa Redgrave (right), gave most of her money away to radical political groups when she was a child. Her father died of an Aids-related illness in 1991 and the actress had been involved with charity work for the disease since then. She met her husband Liam Neeson when they co-starred in a Broadway production of Eugene O'Neill's Anna Christie in 1993. At the time she was married to the actor Robert Fox.
