Paul Krugman
Paul Robin Krugman (born February 28, 1953) is an American economist and 2008 winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics.
Early life
[change | change source]Krugman was born in Albany, New York.[1]
He was awarded B.A.
in economics from Yale University in 1974. He earned a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1977.

Career
[change | change source]From 1982 to 1983, he spent a year working at the ReaganWhite House as a staff member of the Council of Economic Advisers.[1]
Krugman taught at Yale, MIT, University of California, and Stanford University.
He is still teaching at the City University of New York, the London School of Economics, and Princeton University.[1] He is also a columnist for The New York Times.
The Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Krugman in 2008.[1]
